Some people work six days a week and think these laws are unnecessary. Sunday is the only day to get stuff done for some of us and bergen county has a lot of the places we need to go to (i am currently furniture shopping and bergen has all the good stores but i cant shop there as i work to 9pm mon-sat.) Really is pretty stupid to close businesses, especially because of some bull**** outdated religious crap.

God forbid they closed the beach or anything on the shore on Sunday in the summer, most of you North Jersey people wouldn't know what to do.

They obviously aren't equal.

If you kill someone who is trying to start their lawn mower at 3am you are going to jail. If you kill someone who is trying to kill you you have a fair chance of not going to jail (though this is NJ...)

It's more than just "some bull**** outdated religious crap" - read the rest of the posts in this thread and you'll see.

I would know what to do - go to the beach on Saturday. It's not that big a deal. Sunday is for Church, anyway. You should go to Church.

What if I'm Jewish?

What if I'm Adventist?

What if I'm a Muslim?

What if I'm an atheist?

see, i'd look at this as "I'm thankful I have a job where I can afford furniture", but some people only see the negative.

I didn't say I was. But say I managed, why does the state get to say I should go to Church on Sunday?

Say you managed what? You mean say you're a manager of a retail store?

And where does the state say you should go to Church on Sunday? I said you should go to Church on Sunday, not the state.

Church is for the weak, but that's another story.

Think for yourself
