Well, I live about 15-20 minutes from Seaside, and it doesn't seem bad to me. Geez, read some of the comments in here about it as of late. The place is looking pretty good with nice, new condos being built and a lot of cool new bars and restaurants opening. The boardwalk is the boardwalk, as it's always been, of course.

I'm not sure what type of "terrible element" you think comes here. In Point Beach, it's 99% families on vacation. In Seaside, you occasionally will get a group of the "guido" mindset, but it's really not a big deal.

Absolutely not. It's a fun place to go and there's no trouble or violence there whatsoever. I have no idea where that guy was, but it wasn't Seaside or Pt. Pleasant.

I hate to be mean but you don't need to be street smart everywhere you go, you just gotta have common sense. To me, of course, those two dudes should have THOUGHT that being that there's nobody that they know or trust enough to watch their stuff. They shouldn't have gone off like that. To me, that's just stupid. For real, people can't be trust ANYWHERE you go. Why even bring your cell phone to the beach like that if it's YOU alone that's going with nobody to watch?
