Anyone have any experience flying out of ACY? Or Spirit Airlines? I'm thinking about booking the ACY-BOS flight and then spending a night near Logan at the Hilton Express. I have to since Spirit just offers one flight and its an evening flight

i personally haven't but know ppl who have and they LOVE it. you literally can park right across the street from the terminal. it's very stress free.

The stress is pretty much zero, especially if you're used to Newark (or, to a lesser extent, Philly). The parking is a lot cheaper too, or at least it used to be, and the terminal is very nice and clean.

Yes, the airport is very small and access and parking are great. With a short flight Spirit isn't a problem. It is truly a no frills, no customer service airline (at least in my experience on numerous flights with them).

I'd say customer service is pretty much on par with every other airline these days. But no-frills is totally correct. There's nothing bad about Spirit, but don't expect LCD screens, Internet access, first class/business class options. I think for $20 or so, you can get upgraded to a more spacious seat, an option I've taken once or twice.

Generally, though, the destinations to which you are traveling from ACY are pretty short so it's really no big deal.

Atlantic City International Airport

Looks like it ranges between $8/$12 per day depending on where you park.

The only problem with Spirit is that they don't have any affiliation relationship with other airlines so if their flight is canceled for ant reason, you are stuck & they won't arrange to transfer you to other airlines to get home.
