No. My friend's husband got that ticket last year. It was just a ticket with a fine. He didn't have to register as an offender or anything. I don't even think he went to court.
well this is good to hear-----do you know if it's considered a criminal offense (that would need to be reported to work like a DUI) or not?
Also, do you know how much he paid and if he got an attorney?
It was a ridiculous amount..., like $250.
But not a criminal charge. He never got an attorney or went to court... just paid it.
I doubt it's on his record, but I can double check and ask my friend tomorrow. The charge was "urinating in public" though.... if you are being charged with "indecent exposure" that is very, very different.

A few Shore towns were trying to stretch them to indecent exposure, but I think the state told them to cut it out. Public urination is normally a township or borough ordinance violation, which is not a criminal offense. It's in the same category as a noise violation or parking ticket.

OMG! My stepson got that same ticket! for pulling over to the side of the road (in the dark) to pee. Cop didn't even see him- just saw him as he was walking back to the car- $250.00 but no points or lawyer was needed. I'm pretty sure the Sex offender part would be if you had your junk out in front of a girls school on a sunny day.
