My story Readers' Digest fashion:

Married 2002
Divorced 2006
Ex moves out of my 4br 2.5bath 2500 sq ft. home in Knob Hill Manalapan,
sister and bro-in law move in, have 2 kids and now have found a new home for themselves in 2009

I've decided I should just put my home on the market as why would I need a single family home for just me.

I'm looking for some input on some good complexes to rent a condo or apartment to setup my new swinging bachelor pad.

I'm looking for an "active lifestyle" community with tennis court(s) and community feel. My offices are in Edison and South Plainfield so anywhere within a 30 mile radius works for me.

Thanks in advance for any valuable feedback.

You should consider moving closer to the city, man ... Hoboken/JC waterfront areas. In my humble opinion, the 'burbs are no place for a bachelor! About 25 minute drive to Edison, South Plainfield would be a little longer.

I don't know your budget, but it sounds like you have enough cash, so I would just move into the city if I were you and reverse commute out. But that's me. If I didn't have kids there is no way I would live in the suburbs.

Hoboken and JC are fine, but nothing beats Manhattan.

What are your interests? Maybe the Jersey Shore would be good, or Plainsboro is a great area. Also, The Landings in Perth Amboy has a great feel. Lots of young professionals in the complex. Good luck!
