Questioning him in not wanting to debate at all is one thing, but not this.
Smearing him? Yeah, he has done such a fantastic job, 101.5 should've been singing his praises. 101.5 will address his abysmal record and he cannot defend it -- period.

No. You are sidestepping the issue.

Someone said, as a thread topic: "Corzine will not debate on 101.5" and you are saying that that proves he is a bad candidate.

That station is not criticizing him. They are smearing him, and they make money in doing so. It makes NO SENSE, personally or politically, for him to support them.

THEY ARE A PIDDLY LITTLE RADIO STATION THAT LIVES OFF OF SLANDER.

I am saying NOTHING about Corzine's record, and nothing about the election, which you seem to keep coming back to. One, no matter how bad, does not excuse the other.

Just do me a favor. Go and look up what the basic intent of a debate is. It is usually to get two people to argue different points in front of a neutral moderator in a neutral stage, not to go to the heart of the enemy camp to try and prove you have testosterone.

It is just stupid for him to do something like that, and very unrealistic a measure of his legitimacy for office.

So saying you are disappointed that he will not do this, there, is one thing. But saying that makes him a bad Governor?

It is stupid for him to take on a debate that will expose his awful policies. I agree with you. Not doing the debate doesn't make him a poor Governor. It's simply a symptom of the problem. He's not doing the debate BECAUSE he was a poor governor.

This is going round in circles.

Mods? Can we lock this before some of the spectators get nauseous?

How stupid is that? How many "be a man" challanges can you think of that when thought of in retrospect, or even SOBER, seem utterly idiotic?

He stands very little to gain from this, and a lot to lose. Also, as I said twice already, why would he want to earn his detractors more money?
No one said to put your hand in the fire, but face your adversaries.

No they are not. They want him to man-up like every other governor has and he won't. Even Karla Katz has been on, as a "guest" host. She's treated very respectfully even though she's so lost up Corzine's rear-end and can't see straight.

They are a NJ station that deals with NJ issues and Corzine is a HUGE issue in NJ. By him NOT making an appearance to DEBATE Christy by a non-personality is just pathetic on Corzine's part. He'd get more respect if he'd just gub'ner up and do it.

What it tends to be is to get those running for office to have a back-and-forth in the form of a debate and explain themselves. Both sides.

What is does is make him seem that he thinks he's either too above to answer to those who live in the state he runs or he's too afraid to be asked any "hard" questions in a debate forum where he won't have a script infront of him to read answers from (or at least have the time to memorize answers to questions given by planted "news reporter-types"). By him avoiding the situation, the latter is probably correct.
