Studio is 1300 with 2 free months at 1180, with all races living there. Sizewise the studio is typical to what a 1 bedroom apartment would be in NYC

why would you pay $1300 to live in a studio in Newark? Is this a "luxury" studio ?

Newark is one of the few areas of the NYC area that is comparable to Baltimore in terms of COL; this is because it is one of the few areas of the NYC area that is as ghetto as Baltimore. avoid.

There are poverty stricken areas of Newark. However there are beautiful, stable areas as well. You would be very surprised to see the beauty of some of the homes and communities that surround Branch Brook Park in Newark for example. This park is home to the Cherry Blossom Festival every April where tens of thousands of visitors from as far as Japan visit.

Ahem, this is in Newark . . .
