I am thinking of relocating to Oakland, NJ and was wondering about the Catholic Church there. My church community is very important to me. Thanks for your input.

A former coworker lived in Oakland and she went to Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Then she switched over to St. Elizabeth's in Wyckoff--not sure why, I think it had to do with the school there for her daughters.
OLPH is a nice parish. Quite large, compared to some of the other ones around here. They just renovated the church house.
(There is no Catholic school, you would go to St. E's for that in Wyckoff.)
Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions, I am pretty familiar with most of the parishes up here. Just click on my name.
