Lastnight I had my car parked on a street and found a ticket when I came back for parking there between 4am-6am and this isn't my first one. It seems that every town I drive into is like a field of landmines for parking and just when U think u found a good spot, there's a sign 200 ft up the sidewalk and I have to repark my car and meantime cops are circling these streets every few minutes ready to ticket people. It's never more than 50 dollars but still.
How do people fight valid tickets? Possibly without going to court wasting my time?

How can you fight a ticket if you know it's valid? Just pay it and obey the signs.

In the past people have gotten out of parking tickets. Tell me something I don't already know.

Fight a valid parking ticket? Maybe ask for a trial by jury and have it televised on Court TV. There was once a guy who fought a seat belt ticket that way, and won, ha ha.

Why don't you just park legally? It would save you a lot of money.

Rhetorical question I am supposing.
You really can't fight a legit ticket. You can only fight it if they screwed up somehow.
And the fact that you parked for 2 hours does not mean that they just turned the corner right after you parked and before you could get back from reading the traffic sign, so can the BS!
Just read the signs!

Fighting the ticket
IF there was some sort of error, such as it was no parking on Tuesday and you got the ticket on a different day, such as Friday, or there was no sign, etc., you might be able to fight it. If the situation was not anything like that, you are just going to have to pay the "man".

i recommend everyone fighting every ticket they get, no matter if its valid or not. this will clog up the court system so they cant process them for years.
in nyc, you can just go online and fight them. its stupid not to because you will almost always get an offer for a reduced fine automatically. you can pay the reduced fine or roll the dice and see if the "judge" believes your line of bs.

Thanks for being the one person to actually have an answer for my question apart from the spineless herd of goats who rather look cool than be real.
I got a ticket on my own street because firemen were having some nonsense going on and occupying where I normally park, I didn't want to be a pain in their ass, I tell u being nice won't do any good in this world. I took to much from being ticketed at a broken meter to being billed on the GSP through a broken toll, to being harassed in the park after dark while other people get away with it just for having a big gay phony badge in their windshield.
