It's highly doubtful. You'd be far better off driving the few extra miles to Metropark, where you're guaranteed to find spots in the parking deck- it's not worth the risk to try and hunt for a spot in Edison.

any updates on this thread? I'm weighing my commuting options between

New Brunswick (and getting my friend to drive me to the sation, meaning long waits)
Edison - I hate parallel parking, but I don't think there's and alternative
Metropark - a 25 minute drive down 287/27, but at least I get parking.

I'm in piscataway, by the way. Any tips on backroads is great since I don't drive much outside the NB/Piscataway area.

If you're in northwestern Pway consider Bridgewater. Parking is available, but it'll add time to your commute (slower train + a change of trains at newark).

oh gosh. It took me 2 hours this morning (NB - driving to friends house then driving to station).

I can't handle extra time on my commute! The less work, the better.

I live in Piscataway (off Birch Run Dr) and I can get to Bridgewater station in less than 10 minutes. Go north on Possumtown Rd, turn left at Lincoln Blvd (after the rail crossing). Keep driving, you'll pass through Middlesex, Bound Brook and after you go under 287, the station will be on your left. Right across the street from Target.

You can drive to Dunellen Train Station, which is easier from Birch Run area. By the way, today I just went to rental office of Edison/Blueberry Village that can easily walk to Edison Train Station, and helped Jemmy's friend from Brooklyn, who just got a job at Newark, a nice apartment. Can you believe that it provides 2 month free rent!!

My car was broken into twice when I lived in Blueberry Village, and my friend's car was stolen from right in front of the apartment. I would recommend living elsewhere.

Unfortunately I can't move and I'm not parking where I'm going to get towed or have my car broken into or towed lol. And Since the commute is so far, I'm not keen on taking a different train line that requires me to transfer in Newark.

So far I'm leaning toward commuting through Metropark... but I'll give people one last shot!
