I've never heard of people having any health issues related to Oyster Creek. And believe me, the environmentalists have been trying to find issues for decades.

I lived there for over a decade and I'm fine. I don't glow in the dark or anything.

I'd rather live in close proximity to a nuclear plant than a coal plant in terms of health issues. I know pipefitters who have been working at that plant practically since it opened and they're doing fine.

We moved to Greenbriar Oceanaire last Nov and so far all is good.

We actually save on electricially since we all glow...of course only kidding.

Moving here with the power in Forked River was never really a concern of ours. We always figured that if it blew up, maybe we'ed see a flash but before our brain could process it, we'ed be vapor...seriously.

There are people always fishing on route 9 right buy the plant, so I figure it's safe to live near it.

Take the plunge and move down here.

BTW...Welcome to a post that's 4 years old.

This thread is ancient; I think the original poster has probably moved from adult community to assisted living by now

I used to live about halfway between a coal plant (PECO Cromby) and a nuclear plant (Limerick). At least I always had an answer when someone asked if I'd like one of those in my back yard...
