Can anyone give a suggestion of a good podiatrist or orthopedic surgeon (with foot and ankle surgical experience)? I am new to the area and need to find someone under my insurance plan which is tricky in itself. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

I need a sesamoidectomy (which is a long way of saying I need my sesamoid bone removed).

I'm in Essex county, but Bergen County area is fine as well.

Thanks!

I broke my foot earlier this year and was treated by Dr. Rosa Roman, a podiatrist in Bloomfield in Essex County. She seems very knowledgeable and was able to repair my broken bone without surgery. Anyway, she's very nice and cheerful. If she's covered under your medical plan (mine is Cigna), you should check her out.
