I could not imagine being surrounded by 1 million people yet alone the crowds in NY !LOL>>on a good day!

No, I think I'll just stay home and do something more fun, like stick a hot poker in my eye.

I couldn't deal with that, either. I am staying home, alone, by choice. I will probably fall asleep long before midnight, but I hope to get up early on New Year's Day and if the weather is clear, watch the sun rise over the ocean.

Did NY Eve in the city twice in my life. Fun fun times but honestly you need to be a little crazy and very young to pull it off. I am "only" 34 and I could never handle it these days.

I always wondered where do people go to the bathroom.

I could never do it, can't stand to be out in the cold for more than 10 minutes.

We're just going over to a friend's house about a mile away from home.

no freaking way. i could probably deal with no bathroom, but my husband would have to wear a depends (I bet that's what ppl do).

i'm going across the street for the adults party while the kid party is at my house.

I went 1 time in my life-(25 yrs ago)- cold,drunk,and crowded beyond belief. At my age -now Im lucky if I make it to midnight in my easy chair before than damn ball comes down

Ive gone to clubs, new years partys, even a Dick Clark event once. Never stood outside at X2. Couldnt imagine standing outside for hours on end in the cold. You have to get there at like 8-9pm to get a good spot i hear. No thank you.

I never went but my son did, he said it is manical. People just peeing wherever and major drunks. He did run into a few who told him they have been doing it for years, all decked out with chairs and blankets, plus most wore Depends.... out of my league, to each his own.
