Yet another article that I read about this man where I come away smiling. Let's see if he can continue to implement policies whereby government must operate more like a private sector, fully accountable business. I have to admit, I am pleasantly surprised so far, not being a big supporter of his during the Republican primary season last year.

Amen! Nice to see a politician actualy trying to accomplish something. Of course, this is just the beginning, and it's all talk at the moment. My biggest fear is that he may end up in a 55-gallon drum like Jimmy Hoffa if he pushes this issue too much. Then again, he's a big guy- he might not fit in a 55-gallon drum......

It's about time. The inmates have been running that asylum for far too long.

Not surprising. The Republicans are the enemies of the working people of this country, and of the public education system.

It would seem to me the opposite, for if you work, you are therefore employed. Democrats want to continue to raise the income tax. You rarely find an individual Democrat politician that wants to cut the income tax. Therefore, I would associate a political movement that seeks to confiscate more dollars from your paycheck to be the enemy of those work. Now, if you are a welfare careerist, then I would think the Democrat party would be your friend.

One thing at a time, T- one thing at a time. Until he gets a leash around the NJEA, you won't see any consolidation because too many $200k/year superintendents wouldn't be needed anymore.
