I am looking for recommendations on a place to buy surplus/wholesale cabinets. I need to get a few to add to the laundry room. I just want a place to pick them up - I can do the install myself. Searching through the forums I saw a few recommendations on HD or Lowes, but I think there must be a better deal. I am not looking for the top of the line cabinets - just something that matches.

Sorry, can't help beyond HD or Lowes...

If you want to get really innovative, maybe contact people who do a lot of kitchen remodels... I'm sure they'd love to make a little extra profit selling you cabinets they've taken out of a kitchen they're updating... materials are generally free (contractor discards everything), so anything you pay them is pure profit.

You might try Habitat for Humanity's ReStores where people/contractors donate building materials that are removed/surplus. You might find some matching cabinets in their stock.

I don't have the contact info, but definitely Sterl Kitchens in North Bergen. I'm sure if you google them you'll find the address. They are the best.
