My husband and I want to go to the Imax in Rockaway, and we're looking for a good restaurant or bar for dinner. We live in West Orange, so anything between West Orange and Rockaway would work. Does anyone have any recommendations? We like pretty much anything but chinese food. Good desserts would be nice, but not a must.
My personal favorite is South City Grill in Mt Lakes (right between Parsippany and Rockaway) South City Group . My wife and I go there every year for Valentines day or whenever we are in the area. It's a little bit pricey but everytime I was there the food was great. They are located at 60 route 46 east Mountain Lakes NJ. Their menu is posted online to get an idea of the types of food.
