Sitting in snowy Hoboken and it is still coming down thick and fast. It is a slushy mess where the puddles of the old snow/rain meet the new snow. Traffic already moving slow. Drivers appear to be extra cautious. So happy that inadvertently yesterday I got my groceries in!

How is it where you are?

What snow? If you don't pay it much attention it will melt away. (easy for me to say as I'm ^2000 miles away at present)

As long as you are not planning on coming back over the next 2 days, you are in a good spot Captne! They have massive flight cancellations at LGA, JFK and EWR. Those poor people!

I'm not in Jersey but I'm close, I just got out of the snow, it was nothing but rain all day then it started snowing an hour ago, there's huge snowflakes and we probably have between a coating and an inch right now.

Sure enough I jinxed Queens/Long Island lol. I can't wait until Spring and Summer.

And Infamous92: No more jinxing that area please. I need to drive out to LI this weekend to pick-up my mother. I was hoping that once I got thru the City, I would have clear sailing...

There was a heavy coating when I left Jersey City this morning and it was coming down hard. I was surprised to arrive in Manhattan for work and see just a bunch of rain. It has been snowing for a few hours in the city now, but it's not accumulating on anything. I think it's still 34 or 35 degrees. I wonder how much snow will be waiting for me back in JC.

We haven't gotten anything to speak of YET. It was snowing very early this morning, but stopped for at least 8 hours except for a few flurries. The wind has picked up noticeably in the last couple hours, though. I tried to put some salt down on the slush before it freezes, and it blew away before it even hit the ground!
