That's it!!! Depending on what kind of auto you have renting a trailer to hook up to your vehicle may be the cheapest route..check UHaul

Penske is usually the cheapest for no-frills rentals, but it you need a driver too, that's a whole different ball of wax.

Any company supplying a truck & driver will not be cheap. You don't have much stuff so you will more then likely have to pay a minimum weight, meaning the company may have a minimum weight of say 500 lbs and even if your stuff only weighs 300 lbs you will pay for the 500 lbs.

Check your phone book for small local places by you

At this point, I'd say you're going to be looking at a Craiglist "guy with a truck" type of deal, and I'd expect you'll be looking at at least $500 dollars (probably more). At that point, you may as well let them load your stuff too, since they'd have to sit around waiting for you to load it anyway.

I recently helped one of my kids move and picked up a cheap Ryder truck just off US1&9 in Elizabeth near EWR (Newark Airport). It was fairly cheap, maybe about $100, I think I went online for some discount, but had to drive it myself. It was actually a larger truck than I needed and I kept it over the weekend and only was charged for one day.
if you drive it yourself remember to watch for low bridges, trees, etc. otherwise you might wind up buying a wrecked truck, lol.
