My husband's work place would be in Flanders so we are researching for good high school
which has Asians/Indian community. I am looking around freeway 80 and 287 . Also if you know name of city/apartment/neighborehood where majority Asians resides. I lived in Silicon Valley and so got used to living within Indian community. please help and guide me any thing
you know to make best selection. I short listed parsippany HS,Morris Knolls HS,West Morris Central HS ( looks like expensive area )

Mountain Lakes seems right but it's a bit pricy. Also take a look at Kinnelon, Madison or Montville.

Parsippany is the only one that comes to mind that will have a large Indian community. Mountain Lakes is the best high school in Morris county but there is zero diversity, Indian or otherwise.

Montville is 13% Asian... good HS. Parisppany-Troy Hills is the largest Indian/Asian population. I think you could live in Montville for the HS, and quickly visit all the Indian markets and resturants that are quickly nearby.

It all depends on the importance of your priorities. Great school = Mountain Lakes. Lots of Indians = Parsipanny-Troy Hills. I think Montville is the perfect compromise.

I'd look for the best schools, period.

I don't have any kids but I have lots of friends who were one of the few people of their ethnicity in their schools. It doesn't seem to have affected them; if anything it's a source of jokes/banter
