Well after over 2 years and travelling route 23/287/208 every morning for this time, I see now that the roads are dead! This NJ economy is hurting. I thought maybe it was a school holiday but its dead!!! Husband just called and said he has never seen route 23 so dead since we moved here. Ohh but its getting better they tell us? Look!!??

My mom had the same comments about 78. For the last 6 months she said she's never seen it so dead. She's usually caught in traffic but has been flying down w/o any change to her schedule.

I thought it might be a holiday or something? i went by the bagel store this morning at 0545 and the lights were not even on yet. if it opens at 6 i would have figured they'd be rolling and baking by then.

well I guess since Im on the route 23 loop I deal with Construction/union/blue collar people and not too much building going on. I leave at all times. My husband 645am, I left today at 730 am. DEAD, its been dead. Glad in a way route 80 is at least not dead at least people still are working!!!!
