I was at an event there last year where one of the directors of the track told me that NASCAR was considered in the past, but that's off the table now. Great track(s) by the way.

The newspaper keeps hinting to the contrary, but who really knows. What I do know is that it attracts a lot of people with big $$ and even some celebrities. I know Micheal Jordan and a few others where there last year.

i believe MJ was there for AMA he does own a team. Just don't see MJ into nascar. Pocono is close enough if you need your NASCAR fix.

They tried to bring indy races to new jersey at meadowlands. I loved seeing them there. They moved the venue to Louden, NH afterward stating they didn't make enough money here. There was talk back in the '90 of making a race in new york city but they realized the actual cost to redo all of those streets and the logistics. So much for racing around here. Our bets bet is Milleville recetrack in southern Jersey. I heard they are gearing up for big races like indy and perhaps F1 in the future.
