Gaetano's, in various Burlington and Camden County locales, is my favorite. Di Vello's in Medford is a close second. Of course, White House sub shop is going to be near the top of any list of great New Jersey restaurants, regardless of cuisine.

It lives up to the hype..White House in AC. I grew up on those subs..they're fantastic..I get the regular /w hot peppers. I still have lots of family in the AC area and when I visit I hit the White House. I live in Hunterdon County now and can't find a decent sub up here. If anyone can recommend a place that would be great.
