Out of 379 High Schools in NJ, Hoboken High ranks #313, with #1 being the best. NJ has 588 districts, Hoboken district ranks #516.

The school is mostly hispanic with a pretty even mix of black and white. About 80% of the students are eligable for free or discounted school lunch.

For math only about 50% of the kids were proficent, with only a TINY minority of the students being advanced.

Good is subjective, I gave you some data, you decide what's good for your kids.

you can go to school digger.com and great schools.net for more research HTH

Hoboken HS is not a place to send your kids if you have resources to send them elsewhere. Hoboken HS is a disaster.

Yuppie Parents in Hoboken who have not gotten "out" of town send kids to private schools. In my experience, many go to pricey privates in town (or in the City) but most tend to move by HS age.
