yes, my friend and i were talking about this...nice salary no doubt but that alone could not cover those expenses. if we give the dude the benefit of the doubt he has to have family money or was an extremely wise investor or has some side bizs.....
Guess sooner or later we will find out
I read he is also the super of Seaside Heights & Seaside Park schools...that being two elementary schools going to 5th or 6th grade after that at one time the kids then went down to central regional as Seaside is part of Berkely Township

Will have to look up his salaries for Seaside
Just another example of the absurdity that goes on with the "home rule" schools in NJ. They talk about Toms River having 19,000 kids as if that's some insane amount that would somehow justify this guy making $275k (while still having time to manage two other districts to boot), and yet the county-based school systems that many states have regularly include twice that many kids, and somehow still manage to be operated by a super who doesn't have to be paid that much.

There are a few real estate deals involving two other board members, he made a nice chunk of change according to county records. Sold a home on Amy Ct for 800K after he purchased the one in SS. Some news he gutted that house and spent an additional 300k. Somehow thought he might have a construction business as well. Guess this will all come out soon, he has not been changed for anything yet. Today is the emer. board meeting at 1:45, interesting to see if he wil be suspended, with pay of course.
Listen I have no idea if he is a crook but you seem not to consider if his wife has income or that he may have family money. I have a friend that has a lower salary than I do but lives in a home worth 1.2 million and also owns a second home out west. His wife has the same salary as he does and they were left significant money from both sides of their families.
He does not get etra income for being the super. of the Seaside districts.
Yup your correct. He lives there in Seaside why pay more taxes, no salary to be Seaside school super, he has the Toms River people pay for it.
Seems to be a smart man, but also some type of crook of course, getting away with this for years.
TR is the 4th largest school district. Wonder what the Supers in the 3 larger districts make? I thought he had his own business as well which would explain his personal lifestyle, which of course is his business. My concern would be that everything has been on the up and up. We previously lived in TR and I felt that our children received a great education there.
He's a cocky thief, always was. I guess the feds will stick his feet in the fire. Guess what, the school board did nothing. Life goes on this is the norm for NJ.
