Hi-
We're temporarily living in Belleville, NJ, border of Nutley, would consider to move a little bit south. By searching Aprtments.com, we found this town has the apts with the criteria we want, such as washer/dryer, dishwasher in unit, etc., price range is acceptable too.
Unfortunetely, we couldn't find the town in city-data.com.
Can any one give a clue?

for some reason, its listed as "plainsboro center" on city-data. I don't know why, that's not the name of it.

I just moved out of Plainsboro last year. So if you have any questions, ask away!

Thanks!
Any impression would be appreciated, regarding safety, shopping, recreation, etc.
BWT, why did you move out from Plainsboro, do you mind me asking?

Very safe. Nice mix of country area and condo complexes. Busses to NYC right at my doorstep. Not a lot of shopping except for a few new little centers. They have a town-wide ban on gas stations, so make sure you fill up before you get there.

There's a couple of nice parks, but anything like movies/restaurants etc., will be about a 10-15 min drive to hightstown or princeton.

I lived there for about 4 years in the Ravens Crest condos which were pretty nice. I moved out for 2 reasons:

1) a growing amount of indian/asian immigrants (which I think is under-represented in the older city-data numbers).
2) to move in with my fiance since her place was bigger ;-)

Plainsboro is very nice, very safe. It is popular with families because the West Windsor-Plainsboro school district is excellent, and it is commutable to so many places (NYC, Princeton, etc.).

and it has a huge Asian Food Center Welcome to Asian Food Markets! that is to say many Chinese families and Asian families there (there is Indian Grocery next to it ...etc). very safe and convenient if you like to eat Asian food.

I often there when I got this wonderful Staybridge Suites 2.5* at $45 on a weekend getaway from priceline, and I would highly recommend that you bid a nice hotel at Plainsboro area (Princeton has a lot), and spend a nice weekend there, drive a round, you will feel much better, I found all apartment complex looks nice. grass very green.

One year I was there to the July 4 Celebration at the Mercer County College, and I can't believe my eyes, so nice the county college so green so big...

Try also visit Princeton Univ and brand new Public Library, Market Fair Mall and brand new PF Chang's restaurant ...etc and World Buffet at Rt 33, you will love Plainsboro ...
