Hi! I live in Texas and am going to New Jersey to visit my husband (just got married Saturday!) next week. We are planning various things to do and planned on going to Point Pleasant for one of the days. I am looking for a seafood restaurant on the water for dinner (something nice, but not way expensive)..... any suggestions?

Thank you!

We always liked Jack Bakers Lobster Shanty and the Wharfside on Channel Drive. There's also the Shrimp Box on Inlet Drive.

If you'd like a casual lunch one day, stop in the Ark on Hwy 35 near the railroad tracks by the Bay Head border.

Have a great trip!

The Wharfside would be my vote. It has the Patio Bar connected to it for after dinner drinks and entertainment. It's on the water and has "dock and dine" if your family has a boat.

Also, consider Red's Lobster Pot. Small, but freshly caught lobsters daily (literally). No reservations, so be prepared to wait, but it's well worth it. It is on the water near the commercial fishing docks and has outdoor seating. Extremely highly recommended.
