Essex County to Chester/Long Valley

One more question: it seems LV was recently reassessed. Most of the houses on sale are selling below their assessed value. Did the town over assess the value? are there a lot of tax appeals?

Also, how are the brand new homes selling? There seems to be a lot on the market....

We moved to Long Valley about nine months ago and love it! Lived on Long Island all our lives then in NC for a quick three years and I must say this is a really nice place. The schools are great. The area safe. Nice place to call home! Good luck exploring the area.
