I live in Tenafly NJ, it's a nice area. However, it's nothing compared to Saddle River, Franklin Lakes, Englewood Cliffs, and Alpine.

The reason I said that is because the price of the houses, and unless you live in the cities, its mostly nice and quiet(in northern Nj anyway).

What are some elite areas of south jersey? Or is south jersey the working mans land?

Those who live in and around Somerset's money areas know it's all about riding the horses. Those in Bergen are on their high horse but have no place to ride.

Cherry Hill and Haddonfield. What they may compare to in north Jersey I have no idea though!

It's much smaller and may have one or two sections that may be up there like the Sturbridges, but it's not as affluent overall. Some real crappy areas as well, esp around Somerdale and Lindenwold.
