Several of our friends and we are planning to spend the post-Thanksgiving weekend at
Ojo Caliente (first visit for all) and we were wondering what restaurants are nearby?

Thanks for any info...

Google only mentions two likely candidates:

Mesa Vista Cafe (35323 US 285)
Black Mesa B&B (50 Los Banos Dr)

Ever considered a picnic? Looking for restaurants in BFE is sure to disappoint.

I'm sure you're right, but we're going to be there all weekend...

Thanks for the leads.... although I'm not sure I want to eat anywhere on Los Banos Drive...

ARTESIAN RESTAURANT

Española is not that far away. Many people
in larger cities drive that far for a restaurant.

Sure, that's not far at all. We just want to have alternatives other than the Espanola
Burger King....

I liked the Artesian Restaurant at Ojo Caliente the few times I've been there (last time about two years ago). From the list Poncho posted I've been to the Abiquiu Inn dining room several times, it's a pleasant, casual, bright and happy place with average-to-good food. I haven't been to any of the other places on the list.

Thanks, Aires.

I was hoping someone knew of a hidden gem, but it doesn't seem that way. I'm fairly
sure we'll eat at the resort.

Hey

We just got back from vacation with a stop in Ojo C and The Artesian Restaurant was fantastic!

The Abiquiu Inn is also wonderful, we ate there several times but no way is it near Ojo, nothing is.
In our 7,000 mile trip over New Mexico, Arizona, Utah there were a couple favorite places and the day we spent at the Ojo Springs and then had dinner there was one of my favorites.
