I've got a photo of the autumn foliage in the Sacramento Mountains stored on my computer. Splendid!
I am just HOPING that summers here are not usually that hot....and that they are of shorter duration than they are in TX.....which seems to be forever.

The nights cool down more here, and the mornings are cool and crisp!! I love to watch the sun set in my picture window, too.

Are you going to share your picture..?!?

I got the picture online. It's called "Fall in the Sacramento Mountains"...I don't recall where I found it, but it is gorgeous.

It was 95 here yesterday, and a few minutes ago it was 90 with 50% humidity. Be glad you're somewhere else!

Hi Jessaka. Actually, the winds in Alamogordo often don't end until April or, in some yrs until June. Sometimes there is a big drop in air pressure which makes some people very uncomfortable- headachy, antsy, etc, ....Sometimes the summer heat really drags you down w/ temps higher than 99. some love it, others stay indoors because of the wind/dust, the temp., or both at once. Therefore some people end up spending a lot of their life indoors in a place others say ,has "perfect" weather! so check it out during those seasons to see how it effects YOU.

Living iN amarillo,tx...from galveston area....no tornados....they stayed by spearman...area all thru tor season. Been here 3 yrs. Winters ARE COLDER THAN the co springs area. Economy is great here for jobs...but, anyone should check out the reports on water and air...and what refineries are around. We are in the red cause of a plant near borger. Coffeyville, ks is the worst of worst. Not everywhere in nm is good air for sure and do not forget about valley fever which is not cureable...cases here and lubbuck i noticed when i got online to ask. The soil is infected and the wind blows it and people get it...though not catching person to person...effects the lungs big time. My brother got it in az. Takes herbal remedies. When it flooded in coffeyville i think 2007, oil bubbled up from the ground even...look at the places where they have the most cancer rates too.. And deaths. Las cruces is looking pretty good...but ya get to portales and it is bad. THEY SAY YOU CAN EVEN GET V FEVER EVEN IF YA JUST DROVE THRU THE AREAS THAT HAVE HAD CASES TOO.
