Am a little surprised this hasn't been posted already.

A huge wildfire is going maybe 50 miles SW of Carlsbad, near the small town of Queen.. Named the Last Chance Fire, it has been grown to 50,000 acres, combining USFS, BLM, and private land. Was online just a while ago reading the Current Argus (Carlsbad's daily) and they are making progress, estimating that 40% has been contained.

Needless to say the Sitting Bull Falls Recreation Area has been closed.

Sorry to read that. Texas has certainly had its problems with wildfires recently.
