Looking to relocate from Ohio to the Las Cruces area and I have been reading everything I can find. Still I have not been able to uncover anything on Berino. Can anybody clue me in on the area. I will be in Las Cruces next week and would like to know if I should investigate the area further. Thanks

Berino is an unincorporated village in Dona Ana County, just north of the Texas state line. I think there is one intersection and a gas pump/very small convenience store. The outlying area looks more like Mexico than the United States, which is logical since you are about 20 minutes from Anarapa. I think there are less than 200 people in the area. The entire area is under county jurisdiction.

Default Berino

Thanks for the info Mike. I think I will stop and take a look at Berino on my way to Las Cruces from El Paso. Who knows, could be a hidden treasure. I will post again after I make my own assessment.
