Ruidoso Building Another Dollar Store (construction, shopper, discount)

Construction recently began on the 5th Dollar store in this village of about 10k full-time residents. I wonder if there is any other small town that can "out-dollar" Ruidoso? Also, how does the Chamber of Commerce capitalize on this bonanza? Advertise it as the "Bargain Shopper Mecca of the Southwest" maybe?

Kind of surprises me on Ruidoso. Nothing against the Dollar store as I like them but I can't figure out why Ruidoso has 6 of them. With all the Texans coming in with big bucks, they need to have an HEB grocery store. NM lacks good grocers.
