What has your experience been like as far as dating and making friends? Also, did you purchase a house there? If so, how was the process? I am looking to move there sometime next year and I am currently researching as much as possible. The linguistics are out of the way and now I would like to focus on the social aspect. I've heard that Santa Fe, NM is fairly quiet and Albuquerque is livelier but has issues with crime. I would be so grateful for any advice or help.
"Linguistics are out of the way" meaning everything you literally just asked in your question. Budget, my personal finances, my career etc
Are you a black woman living in Santa Fe? If so would you mind sharing with me what your social life is like? How often do you go out? Also, how did you make new friends?

Okay thanks for explaining that to me.I actually dont live in Santa Fe.sorry i couldnt help u more but i wish u the best of luck....i did some research for u and Santa Fe is less than one percent African-American.
Jakiya there is a Young, Black Professionals MeetUp Group and I believe there is also a Facebook page, you might be able to get answers there as the African American population is low in NM and you might get more responses from them. I can share my perspective as a biracial woman. I'll send you a private message
