I wouldn't say one of the safest cities in New Mexico. There are 16 New Mexico cities which are safer than Hobbs....

Okay maybe I should rephrase and say Im surpised Hobbs even made the list.Thanks for the clarification.

There are a lot of sites which come up with a variety of crime statistics.

City-Data also posts crime statistics.
