We don't try to change anything. It's just the fact that we are in the USA and meth and heroin are not only very dangerous, they are very illegal. Marijuana is not the problem, I agree. New Mexico is very much part of the USA and when us "outsiders" see this kind of stuff we don't take very kindly. I think the authorities have done fairly well with catching the higher drug users but they could be doing better, in my opinion. Instead of arresting someone that has a 0.10 while driving, get the meth and heroin users maybe?

Very high on my 'to do' list is a remedial Spanish class when or before I move to New Mexico.
