I am considering on moving to New Mexico, Albuquerque area, and would be looking for a job as a legal administrative assistant in a larger law firm in Albuquerque. Can anyone recommend any good firms to look into? Also, I would appreciate any information on what the salary ranges might be for someone with 30+ years of experience working in large law firms in Philadelphia. Finally, with the current economy, does anyone know if there are hiring freezes going on in law firms in Albuquerque.
I went out to a client office last week to train their new office mgr, small attorney firm (2 lawyers), they are paying their new admin asst/office manager $50,000. Previous lady was making $62,000. This is more admin/office manager than paralegal position, if that helps any.
