Craving some fresh produce and would like an alternative to the local big box store. If not a market, any local growers out there? Would bet if you posted a lot of us in the area would beat a path to your door.
I'm not sure of produce yet because I've just moved to the area but Natures Pantry in Alamogordo might have some things. I've bought some organic type items there already.
I'm sure they may have a few things.
Saturday AM I think starts at 7 or 8 there are farmers markets in Alamo at the fairgrounds and in Tulie at the park by Lowes groc.
I love the one in Las Cruces as its lots more than just food and two blocks long. That one is Wed and Sat am also. For there I plan Dr visits if I can the same day..LOL

Chilegal, Alamo and Tulie markets were both mentioned in the Alamo daily news couple of days ago. Both are up and cranking as of last weekend(6/21).
Thanks to all that responded.
Since this is an older thread, is the LC market still going on Wed. and Sat.?
If so, will you tell me where it is and if it's worth going to?
That might be a good thing to do tomorrow.
There is a market in San Antonio, and Laughing Sheep Farms in Lincoln, and our Sat market here in Capitan. Most will not be very active untin late July or August. Also some markets in Roswell during the summer growing season. Raspberries in Hondo and Lincoln. Last year was not very productive because of a very short growing season.
