Big enough gun, hog bait, night vision sights = pork chops for supper next day. Hunting game is one thing but killing pests quite another. Even better if they taste good.
Can anyone tell me where I can bag a feral hog at in NM? Thanks in anvanced.
Well I think I'd stay away from Timbron
Can't tell you much about your area up North but down in Otero County you could look around Pasture Ridge, Miller Flats, and the Pinon/Weed area. I know they are also having a big problem with them over on the Eastern part of the State. Good luck!
Hmmmm, I live in Karr Canyon and have never seen them. There are some folks in the canyon that have domestic hogs though
Oh, I saw em and they weren't domestics that's for sure. The property was where they poisoned that great big willow and it turned out killing the brush up and down the creek for a couple hundred yards. The guy who owns the property used to be a firestone dealer in Alamo I think (something like that).
Leave the javalina alone? Why? There's thousand's of the viscious critter's around and they WILL attack you and your dog's. They almost killed my dog and they have killed many dog's in Arizona. I say, shoot 'em.
