im a 35 yr old single male no kids looking to move from michigan to warmer wheather can anyone give me some advice on which towns or area in which u see job growth in southern new mexico it sounds like northern new mexico is a bunch of trouble so does anyone know which side in southern new mexico u see growing thank you for your help
Right now there is a good bit of job growth going on in Southern NM. The oil patch in the southeast (Hobbs, Carlsbad, Artesia, Roswell) is booming again thanks to high oil prices. Las Cruces and Alamogordo have government sector jobs with NMSU, WSMR, WSTF and Holloman AFB. And LC is growing like a weed, so there are lots of new jobs associated with the growth. The spaceport should add new jobs in the near future. Retirement growth in LC extends to Deming and Silver City as well.
What the area really needs are more high wage jobs.
thanks for the advice i should have mentioned that im in the construction field with a cdl driver license your input was heplful thanks oh and whats lc?a county?
