Sounds like you had a whirlwind experience, indeed.

I found a site about Rent Limits for the State of New Mexico:

Acck!! You caught me getting confused. The $540 was Wisconsin. $527 makes sense as they told me they'd only give me $50 a month on the voucher program based on what my income was back then.

Looks like you're as good of an online detective as I am.

Interesting document as rent limits change by county here.

Thanks for sharing!

Okay, but as long as you realize I didn't mean to point out that there were any differences between your figure and their numbers. You were very close as far as I was concerned when I discovered that page - only looked at nearby counties for the most part. Just thought I'd post it, in case it would help anyone in the future.

Your faux pas is forgiven (but only this time)!

...when my head is clear maybe (allergies and general sinusitus) . When my head is not, I just don't think to go find the info. myself instead of asking someone else. Just slap me when I ask too may questions!

Not to worry. I'm pretty non-violent so ya don't have to worry about me slapping anyone.

If you have anymore questions feel free to ask.

There are many new posts about Truth or Consequences in 2012. The population according to 2000 census was 7289 and it hasn't changed much. Next higher population would be Corrales, a gorgeous northern NM town, at 7334. The next larger town would be Anthony which is near El Paso, at 7904. It has probably increased in population. You can search by population by clicking below. Every town in NM is lovely, and each has its own distinct draw.

Oops. The population decreased to 6,475 by the 2010 census. I can't imagine why, it looks like it's grown to me.

Hi thinking also on moving to the area but from Brooklyn. What's the deal with no towns between T or C and Santa Fe?
No water I figure.

I didn't know that Soccoro, Belen, Los Lunas, ALBUQUERQUE, and Bernalillo were ghost towns (ok, Belen is kinda maybe).

Maybe a map might help?
