1. We have some of the best mountains in the world.
2. We have nice a variety of cities and life styles from Las Cruces to Santa Fe in less than 300 miles distance then nice mountain towns just a hour or two drive.
3. Great summers that are not to hot and humid.
4 Great winters that are not to cold and again not humid.
5. In the middle of the country so its a easy flight to any major city.
6. Bonus one. Lordsburg is in New Mexico, what state can say that! LOL just joking you all.

1. in most places affordable living
2. NM is kinda in its own world-thats a good thing
3. scenic diversity-mountians,plains,deserts
4. the people and cultures
5. the winter sunshine-ABQ winters are really nice
6. upper and lower classes mix with no problems

1. Second on our climate: Having just visited Austin, I am so happy to be back to my dry climate. It can be hot here, but never too hot to totally stay inside.
2. Great Food. And Red and Green can't be beat
3. Big beautiful skies, especially at night
4. Lots of small towns to get away to (or from) Depends on how you see it! lol
