We just talked to some people on the phone and have info on the current snow storm.

As of 5 pm:

Six inches in Los Alamos (7500 ft) and coming down hard.
Two inches in Encantado (7200 ft?) and coming down hard (the subdivision not the resort)
No accumulation in Nambe/Pojoaque (6000 ft) and not coming down.

Espanola is not supposed to dip below freezing tonight although winds will be up. On my drive through Nambe/Pojoaque tonight at 4:15 there was in fact snow coming down.

Yes there was no snow falling earlier, but the time I specified for the comparison was 5 pm. No accumulation and not coming down at that time.

The National Weather Service was forecasting two feet of snow in Chama.

Here in Nambe we had intermittent high wind and rain throughout the night. It sounded like a lot of rain, but looking around this morning, it does not seem like it was very much. Some of the rain froze, but not enough to completely coat my car windshield. Now there are patches of blue sky. The Sangres are still lost in the clouds.
