A long-time acquaintance and I recently had sex. I never would have seen it happening and after three very fun nights (each followed by sexy text messages) I found that I really like this guy. We were getting along well, getting to know one another and were very comfortable with each other. I started (much to my surprise) really falling for him. He seemed to like me a lot too and things were not awkward. I don't think I was overbearing (we'd exchange a few texts each day and talk about wanting to see each other again.)

Now, it seems, that he may be over me. Or am I overreacting? I had a very big project due today for work. I texted him something this morning about how I was nervous about the project and he sent a nice response. About an hour later I sent another text and told him that a coworker had upset me. Then I turned my phone off because I had a meeting.

I never heard from him again. And now I'm feeling anxious and wondering if I did something wrong. I feel depressed and each minute I become more and more convinced that this affair is over. And I feel ashamed and confused and depressed. (And terrified about when I'll run into him somewhere and how terrible I'll feel.)

Am I being crazy? Is it too soon to tell or is his lack of a response his way of ending things? I really like this guy. Was it too early in this for me to tell him about my stress at work? Or, for him, did our time together run its course? If anyone can help me understand what's going on, I'd appreciate it.

Thank you.

I do apologize generally those types of threads are not popular within the state forums. Ppl on here general share ideals regarding city life, statistics, pictures, growth and developments and some other ideas. If you would check the main forums you should be able to find groups who share similar threads to what you're asking for above.

As a female, UIm would say you were coming across as clingy and needy. Too many calls in a day about nothing much.
