Planning on eating at Jacques-Imos tomorrow night. I've heard lots of positive things, and we're planning on being in the neighborhood anyway, so we want to try it out. Is there parking in close proximity? Anything there I *MUST* try? Thanks!

They don't have a dedicated parking lot, so it's all street parking. We usually park on the street in the neighborhood behind it - Cambronne, I think? The neighborhood looks a bit sketchy, but it's really not bad. Definitely try the alligator cheesecake. Sounds funny, I know, but it's not what you might think. Also, expect to be seated nearly shoulder to shoulder with strangers. I don't mind this but many give negative reviews because of how many people they cram into the tiny space. Being there on a Tuesday might help, especially if you're there right when they open - much less crowded.

Yeah, that cheesecake sounds really odd, but I have heard good things about it before. I hope the weather is as nice as it was today, we're planning on going to the zoo before we eat.
