I have been looking online at some of the Mandeville neighborhoods and just wanted to get some updates. I have been looking in the Woodlands and Beau Chene area and have even seen a couple of threads on this forum. Only problem is they are a couple of years old. Any updates to these areas? Do either one of them have problems with foreclosures, short sales? Can you rent in these areas? Might be moving in the next couple of months and wanted to see where these areas currently stand. I will be coming from Florida and just not sure I want to buy until I am completely sure we will be there. Thank you.

there are foreclosures here and there, but I don't think it's as bad as FL and you couldn't single out any particular neighborhood as better or worse.

I LOVE Mandeville!!! I moved from there in 05 to Louisville and I can not stand Louisville! I would move back to Mandeville in a heart beat if there were good sustaining jobs in the GNA.Moderator cut: not allowed, read TOS
