It's second location is under construction here in Lafayette. Anyone care to offer a review?

Always looking for a new place to dine...

I love it. It's supposedly one of the few authentic "Cajun" restaurants in the area. I don't know how authentic it really is, but it's definitely different compared to the typical Cajun dubbed Creole fare you get around here.

The butcher shop in the rear is awesome and the restaurant in the front makes the butcher shop taste like dog food.

You can't go wrong eating at either but if you go to the restaurant you have to try the smoked grilled oysters on the half shell.

The butcher shop was started because they could not find a good supply of smoked and cured meats for the restaurant but they make awesome sandwiches, hope they open both in your area.

Here are the links for both and checkout the menus at both.

The butcher shop in the rear is authentic Cajun smoked and cured meats but the restaurant is more New Orleans Creole.

The dishes are awesome in the restaurant, not what you would find in a typical Cajun home but still worth trying.

As Justin Wilson would say, let me tell ya my friend, dat dare is real good Cajun food.

Hey, I can handle New Orleans Creole any day of the week!

Whether Creole or Cajun, it's a win win in my book....
