My wife and I are spending Christmas in N.O. We will arrive December 21 and leave on December 26 or 27.

So far we have made arrangements to see / partiipate in the following activities:

1. The fires on the levee on Christmas Eve
2. River boat cruise Christmas Eve
3. Tour of the cemetary
4. French Quarter via the Jazzy Pass

What else is a MUST see while we are visiting? Would it be worth our while to see the Saints play on December 26 against Atlanta?
Are tickets at the Super Dome REALLY $113??

THANKS

Saints Fans HATE the Falcons. If you want an intense football experience, that would be it.

A game in the Superdome would be a great thing to see while visiting.

That is what we thought. Kind of like going to a Blackhawk vs Redwing game. Just being there is great.

A couple of our family traditions:

Celebration in the Oaks in City Park, City Park's Celebration in the Oaks
A night time walking tour located in the botanical gardens. It's got something for everyone, adults and kids alike. I always thought it would be a great place for a marriage proposal.

The Beauregard-Keys house, The Beauregard-Keyes House
What I like about this one is the decorations. The B-K house has the most fabulously decorated table for Christmas.

There is also Santa's Quarters on 1025 Decatur St. An all year round Christmas store. I like stopping in just to look at all that bling. And then there is caroling in Jackson Square, free concerts in the St. Louis Cathedral, and if you want to go old school try a Reveillon dinner. Check this site out for a quick run down, Christmas New Orleans Style

Is that ticket price to the Saints game cheap or expensive in your opinion? LSU tickets are double.
