I recommend the Lafayette area. It's the closest you'll find to the culture of NOLA and it's a great place to raise a family. Plus, you're only a two hour drive from your favorite places uptown. Almost all my family relocated from St. Bernard Parish (Arabi & Chalmette) to Lafayette and New Iberia, and we're all thriving here. Still Mardi Gras'ing, boiling crawfish, and dancing in the streets.

Well, with grammar that horrendous, I encourage you to finish school ANYWHERE! Be it Metairie or Baghdad; For the sake of forums across the entire world wide web, please finish school before your next post.

Oh wait, you finished in '07 ...Ok

Did you write your resume with the same lack of grammar shown above? If so, I think I have a general idea why "it really hard to find any work", as you say. You can't blame New Orleans for that.

Anyway, I hope you make it back to Florida. Take care.

Grammar police on a forum are the worst. Don't respond to anything they actually said, just talk about their grammar.

Dude, stop. If you took that person's post any more seriously than I did, then you need to cut it out...

Some people are extremely sensitive about the New Orleans murder rate. I don't get why people don't listen to facts.
