I will be traveling with a marching band from Nashville, TN down to New Orleans for one of the parades. I'm looking at the forecast for Saturday and its calling for a 100% chance of severe storms. We marched the parade last year and 5 mins into it is started to pour, storms and tornado warniings, got drenched, so the parade was called off... We are not wanting to experience that again... What are some alternate activities we can do while in New Orleans that students grades 9-12 would enjoy that are indoors?

The Insectorium, the Aquarium, the float museum. Not sure of days/times open during the season or how hard to get there.
